One designer - two seasons

Alberta Ferretti’s spring 2011 campaign is undeniably soft and romantic and which photographer and model duo better to convey that image than Paolo Roversi and Sasha Pivovarova? The ethereal images are as haunting as they are beautiful...  

Going in a more darker direction for the fall season, Alberta Ferretti’s latest campaign enlists Paolo Roversi to photograph a series of film style advertisements. Starring Monika Jagaciak and Sigrid Agren, detail orientated dresses styled by Anastasia Barbieri.

An other Spring...

Dear Blog,

this spread just completely expresses my feelings of this day... From Vogue Italia to British Vogue, when Paolo Roversi and model Guinevere van Seenus get together there is always magic to be made. Resembling a gothic pin-up, Guinevere gives us an eyeful in sheer and revealing looks styled by Olivier Rizzo.

Freja Beha - Perfect being feminine

Dear Blog,

I do think it is no wonder that I have chosen some shots by Paolo again... God, what would I do without him... Freja Beha is always perfect being masculine and feminine... She is such an universal character. I love her in these clothes and black and white shades. I feel Freja has been type casted as an Androgynous model that isn't very feminine. Of course she is! And this is proof... 

  My favourite is the 10th pic... She looks like a mermaid on that one...

Dream Sequence

Hi Blog, 

I think that by now U probably have noticed that I have just become sticked to Paolo Roversi. I just cannot get enough of him and his works... Here is an other favourite of mine...This time Paolo delivers yet another hauntingly beautiful layout to W  with “Dream Sequence”. The moody series stars Monika Jagaciak, Darya Kurovska, Dorothea Barth Jorgensen and Regina Feoktistova in ethereal designs by Chanel, Valentino and Givenchy Haute Couture. Styled by Alex White, the quartet looks as if they stepped out of a period film with their demure makeup and hairstyles.

It looks like having some influences from Alice in Wonderland...
